Miss Bladenboro Reigns Again!

Oct 15, Bladenboro - (Story revamped Oct 18)

In anticipation of our Beast of Bladenboro festival and with a desire to boost good human experiences that have dwindled over the years, Boost the 'Boro worked with pageant director Karen Ruffin to bring back the Miss Bladenboro Pageant.

The Miss Bladenboro Royalty Crowning Ceremony was held October 15th at Bladenboro Historical Society.

The new event is called the Miss Bladenboro Scholarship Pageant. While we were short on time and with a goal to have her and her court at BeastFest on Oct 29th, this year's queen and court was done by committee appointment.

Next year's event will have the benefit of experience and expanded focus and will be a highly competitive event over a longer period of time, drawing as a regional event for queens and princesses near and far. (Our ultimate goal would be to make this a competitive event towards having Miss Bladenboro in competition for Miss North Carolina as soon as can be established.)

This year's Miss Bladenboro 2011-2012 is Miss Tera Nicole Richardson, daughter of Terry Richardson and Anita Hester.

Her court consists of:

Princess of Bladenboro - Miss Summer Lynn Cain, daughter of Christopher and Heather Cain.

Junior Miss Bladenboro - Miss Melissa Catherine Britt.

Little Miss Bladenboro - Miss Natalee Kay Britt, daughter of Erica Britt and Corey Cox.

Tiny Miss Bladenboro - Miss Millie Marinnan Lennon, daughter of Toby and Misty Lennon.

Wee Baby Miss Bladenboro - Miss Jaylynn Rylee Sealey,daughter of Erica Britt and Robbie Sealey.

Thanks to Karen Ruffin, the First Class Special Event was professionally done, well attended, and enjoyed by all.
